Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara - Review

Hey beauts, Today I've got the new Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara to show you, I'm constantly looking out for new mascaras as I have notoriously bad eyelashes they are short and straight and so hard to work with, I really like the sound of this mascara, it claims to be their first Gel-Mousse formula which doesn't dry hard or flake(I hate flakey mascara) its also suitable for people who wear contact lenses and with sensitive eyes which really appealed to me, I'm forever getting 'itchy' eyes when wearing mascara for too long!

The brush is also very interesting, the top part holding the brush moves, which is a really effortless way to put on masacra as you don't have to drag your eyelashes up to create a lift, the only down side is I got a little carried away and ended up flicking mascara everywhere. Just be gentle with it!

So here you can see just how terrible my eyelashes are! sparse, short and straight! Gah. BUT this mascara really does make a big difference, I'm not sure if its the gel-mouse formula but it seems to have made my eyelashes look alot fuller although it looks like its clumped which it has I don't blame that on the mascara thats just me, I'm forever making my eyelashes look clumpy just so it looks like I've got some lol! I really like this mascara its the best I've tried in a really long time. It has a great staying power and it didn't irritate my eyes all day(due to the non-flaking) but it was incredibly easy to remove I literally felt the mascara melt away.

Have you tried this mascara? or which mascara are you using at the moment?

  2. I'm a bit picky when it comes to mascaras as I only get on with certain wands but I think the wand with this one looks really good! Definitely going to pick this up next time I'm in store :D Also, your eye colour is so lovely!

  5. Wow this looks so good, I have such a trouble with mascaras cos they all seem to leak under my eyes no matter what. Max Factor Masterpiece Max is the only one that seems to stay put and not make me look like a panda!
