Benefit High Beam - Swatches & Review

Happy Sunday beauties, I'm pretty excited about this post seeing as it's my first Benefit one! I love High beam and when ever it comes as a mini freebie in magazines I always purchase it so when I was debating on which one to buy I knew I would always use this one although, it was a toss up between this and porefessional!

This Highlighter or luminescent complexion enhancer as benefit refers to it looks perfect across your cheek bones, on your brow bones, down the middle of your nose and dotted on your cupids bow. What I like most about this highlighter is being as pale as I am anything 'dewy' can sometimes make me look a little ghastly, and slightly ill, however this highlighter just adds the slightest of shimmers that catch in the light directing the eyes to all the right focal points instead of that sometimes 'wet' look. The colour in the bottle is quite pink but translated onto the skin it is a pale luminescent pearl. You also only need the tiniest amount  dotted over your make-up so when you buy 13ml of High beam it will last you a really long time. I honestly don't think I will need to buy a new one for at least 18 months maybe even more.

You can purchase it here on the Benefit website or here via Debenhams like I did.

What's you favourite benefit product?

  1. This is super pretty! I love Benefit's overly fancy way of saying "highlighter" haha :)

  3. I really like High Beam, but it's a little bit too silvery for my pale skin. I love MAC's Lightscapade MSF as it's just enough shimmer without making me look like a discoball haha xx

  4. I like benetint, I can't really get it to work as a lip product but works well as a blush.

  6. I do love this highlighter. It's quite subtle yet makes you glow, not the "oh I've just slapped on loads of highlighter" but more of a "I'm happy on the inside" glow!
