I've been meaning to type this post up for the longest time! I don't know about you but I feel like skincare is a super personal subject as everyone is different and they have different skin needs! Never the less here it is! Just a little background on my skin type before I begin; I've got an oily nose and cheek area, with acne along my jawline with blocked pores, Absolutely charming!
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo[+] - I'd been looking for something that would sooth redness but not clog up my pores(sudocrem does wonders for ance redness, but my pores detested it!) when this beauty came into my life about 3 months ago in the form of a sample, I'm now on my 3rd full size tube! It's supposed to ease and quicken up skin healing which it really does, my skin is also super smooth and I've noticed improvement everywhere. It doesn't aid in getting rid of acne but it definitely improves the look and quickens healing.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mirco-Exfoliant Astringent - This is a newer addition to my collection, I brought it on a bit of whim really but since I've been using it i've noticed my pores are much smaller and less blocked then usual. I've used things like this before and they've really made my eyes sting or my skin tingle, this on the other hand has a really mild scent and no eye irritation. It also makes me feel so refreshed after!
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant - Probably the most expensive skincare/make up item I will ever buy coming in at a healthy £40 but I honestly don't think I'll ever be without it. You apply a little of the powder into your hand add a few drops of water to make a paste and then you use it the same way you use a face scrub but this is super super super fine and leaves my skin feeling brand new it also stops my acne flaring up and stops breakouts! With regular use(day and night) it has made the biggest difference to my skin. I highly recommend this too anyone bad skin or not! It's worth every single penny!
Body Shop Vitamin E Eye cream - I adore this eye cream, It's super moisturising(dry under eyes) and really helps the skin stay smooth and hydrated. I also find after I've used this and allowed it to soak in which is usually about 15 minutes my concealer goes on better with less creasing! I've also found a little of this goes a really long way.
Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Day cream - As I said above my skin can be really oily to the point where my make up slides of, combin that with dry acne and you've got you yourself a problem! However this wonder product has changed everything, I didn't notice much of a difference the first few times I used it but now a few weeks on my make has stopped sliding and my oiliness reduced while it still moisturises where needed! I apply this first and then primer and foundation after and think its the perfect base!
So there we go, my skincare saviours! I absolutely love using these in conjunction with each other and really feel like they've made a difference, I'd love to know your favourite products too so feel free to tell me in the comments!
